Standard Songs for Average People
Il ne sont pas tout jeunes (respectivement 61 et 82 ans) mais ils ont décidé de joindre leurs forces: John Prine (je ne vous le présente plus) et Mac Wiseman (une des plus belles voix de ténor du bluegrass, qui a joué avec Bill Monroe ou Johnny Cash) reprennent quelques classiques du répertoire américain pour les gens ordinaires que nous sommes. Réunis pour ce projet à l'initiative du légendaire Jack Clement, ils interprètent 14 titres qu'ils ont enregistrés en face à face, séparés par une simple table. Avec eux, quelques-uns des meilleurs musiciens du genre: Pat McLaughlin, Jamie Hartford, Tim O'Brien, Stuart Duncan, Ronnie McCoury, Jack Clement, Dave Jacques, Kenny Malone, Pat McInerney ou Lloyd Green.
